MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Chiefs traveled to Milan and won 9-2. The Chiefs built a 4-0 halftime lead as Melanie Skamiera scored 2 goals and assisted on one. Frankie Hughes and Izzy Pritt found the back of the net and Ava Genzel, Joanna Mentzer, and Cecily Hughes added assists. The Chiefs hit a lull in their productive passing game and Milan answered, scoring two goals to make it 4-2. Immediately after the second goal, the Chiefs returned to form and quickly made the game 6-2 on goals by Ashley Christesen and Skamiera. Skamiera and Cecily Hughes earned the assists. Huron didn't take their foot off the accelerator as Skamiera scored her 4th goal of the night from a Christesen pass. Cecily Hughes and Izzy Pritt finished out the scoring as Skamiera and Ainsley Beggs were credited with assists.
Huron is now 12-2-1 for the season and 8-1-1 in the Huron League.
