The Chiefs traveled to Riverview and came home with a 2-1 victory.  The two teams battled back and forth in the first half at a very quick tempo.  The Chiefs took the lead 1-0 midway through the half as an Aniella Ormanian pass found Melanie Skamiera whom diced through the defense and tucked the ball neatly into the goal.  The Pirates tied the game as they converted on a corner kick.  THe CHiefs settled down in the second half and controlled much of the possession.  Cecily Hughes struck a ball from distance and it carried over the keeper just under the crossbar for a 2-1 lead.  The Chiefs maintained the possession and thwarted all the Riverview counters.  The Chiefs are now 10-2-1 for the season and 6-1-1 in the Huron League.  

The defense play of Aniella Ormanian, Joanna Mentzer, Bella Elliot, Olivia Manoa, and Layla Hamilton  was solid throughout the game.  Amelia Strochine played excellent in goal.
