AIRPORT HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Huron Chiefs traveled to Carleton Airport and defeated the weather and the Jets 7-0. Frankie Hughes had a career game as she was directly involved with five of the Huron goals. She scored 2 goals and added 3 assists. Melanie Skamiera notched her second hat trick of the season scoring 3 times. Joanna Mentzer and Ashley Christesen each added a goal and an assist. Izzie Pritt and Ainsley Beggs each recored an assist. Bella Elliott, Olivia Manoa, Layla Hamilton, and Breanna Hanson played excellent defesively, Amelia Strochine and Rachel Schick combined for the shutout for the 4-2 Chiefs (2-1 in Huron League play). Next up for the Chiefs is the Southgate Invitational on Saturday.
