The Huron Chiefs hosted the Milan Big Reds and defended their home territory by a 4-1 margin.  Huron controlled most of the game from the opening kickoff but could only muster 1 first half goal.  Izzie Pritt made a nice through pass to a cutting Ashley Christesen the fired a nice shot to the far corner of the net.  The Chiefs had a letdown for about seven minutes and Milan took advantage scoring their only goal of the match with about 12 minutes left in the first half.  The Chiefs quickly regrouped and scored a minute and a half into the second half as Franie Hughes passed the ball across the face of the goal to a wide open Joanna Mentzer for the game winner.  Ava Genzel made a nice pace to Melanie Skamiera who blasted a left footed volley into the back of the net.  Christesen netted her second goal of the match to put the game away for a 4-1 final.  Bella Elliott, Layla Hamilton, Olivia Manoa, and Aniella Ormanian played strong defensively for the 3-2 Chiefs.
