The Lady Chief scoring woes continued as they traveled to SMCC and were defeated 3-1. The Kestrals took an early 2 goal lead before Melanie Skamiera converted a penalty kick for a 2-1 halftime score. The controlled much of the second half, but could not find the equalizer. With 10 minutes remaining, the Kestrals converted their third goal off a defensive misplay. The Chiefs start the season 0-2 and will host Riverview on Friday.
