The Lady Chiefs traveled to The Nest of the SMCC Kestrals and came home with a 5-1 victory.  Melanie Skamiera got the ball rolling as she finished a pass from Ainsley Beggs for a 1-0 Huron lead.  Skamiera made it 2-0 as she finished a pass from Frankie Hughes.  The Kestrals tried to keep things interesting as they blasted a shot past the diving Rachel Schick to cut the lead in half. Joanna Mentzer took a quick throw-in to Skamiera who took it three quarters length of the field, dicing defenders on her way to sneak the ball between the legs of the goalkeeper for her first half hat trick and a 3-0 lead.  The Chiefs added to their lead as Skamiera notched her fourth goal of the game from a Stephanie Yeager pass.  Yeager put the game a away as she converted a pass from Frankie Hughes.  The Chiefs are currently 2nd in the Huron League (6-1) at the midway point and 9-1 overall for the season.
