GARDEN CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Chiefs hosted Garden City and defended Arrowhead Stadium with a 1-0 victory. The teams battled a very physical first half that was a defensive contest resulting in a 0-0 halftime score. Both teams had limited scoring chances as both keepers had to make only a handful of saves. Stephanie Yeager scored the game winner midway through the second half as she fired a free kick that the Cougar keeper couldn't handle and found the back of the net. Monica Skamiera, Abby Grant, Aniella Ormanian, and Bella Elliott played well defensively. Rachel Schick earned her third shutout of the year. The Chiefs are now 6-1 for the season and 4-1 in the Huron League.
