On Friday, the Chiefs suffered their first defeat. Grosse Ile won by a 5-0 margin. The Red Devils scored a minute and a half into the game for a 1-0 lead. The Chiefs immediately came down the field and an Ainsley Beggs’ shot was saved to keep the Chiefs off the board. The half played very evenly until 35 seconds remained and Grosse Ile took a 2-0 lead at the half. The Chiefs tried to counter in the second half, but were thwarted on each attack. Grosse Ile netted 3 more in the second half.
