FORDSON HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Lady Chiefs opened the season with 8-0 victory over Dearborn Fordson. It didn't take the Chiefs long to get on the board as Stephanie Yeager took a pass from Melanie Skamiera just a minute and a half into the game. Yeager returned the favor less than a minute later as Skamiera netted a goal for a quick 2-0 lead. Alex Lividini put the Chiefs up 3-0 as she finished a pass from Skamiera. Freshman, Joanna Mentzer, scored in her high school debut from a Lividini pass for a 4-0 advantage. Skamiera put the Chiefs up 5-0 just before the half ended. Stephanie Yeager took over the second half as she netted the final three goals, assisted twice by Frankie Hughes and another by Mentzer. Rachel Schick earned the shutout in net. The Chiefs are 1-0 on the season
