Huron Chiefs girls golf opened their season with a win over the Bears of Jefferson. The Chiefs were led by senior Andie Martin with a 41 on a tough Lilac golf course. Other Chief scores were AJ Skene with a 59 and Brooke Leporowski with a 62. Mira Lazenby and Madeleline Furkas also posted good scores of 54 and 59. The Bears were led by Kaycee Maitland with a 56 and Callie Kelvin with a 57. The Chiefs travel to Pineview on Wednesday to continue league play with a match against Milan. 3 pm tee off. Go Chiefs!
