The Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf Team traveled to the Monroe Golf and Country Club for a Huron League match against SMCC on Wednesday.  In a very close and tough match the Chiefs earned a victory and upped their league record to 11-2 on the season. 

Junior Andie Martin continued to lead the way for the Lady Chiefs.  After a slow start she was able to post a very good score of 45.  Her playing partner, Junior Anna Puschmann, carded a score of 56.  Senior Sophia Straub continued to work hard and posted a score of  58 with her playing partner Senior Jill Chapp posting 59.  The Lady Chiefs were 2 shots down in this match and needed a score of 54 or better to have a chance to win the match.  Senior Asia Riley stepped up and carded a very nice round of 54 to earn the Lady Chiefs the win.  Senior Marissa McMullin posted a score of 66 in her Varsity Golf debut.   

SMCC was lead by Junior Arianna Lewis who shot a nice round of 46 for the Kestrels.
