The Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf team hosted the Monroe-Jefferson Bears today at the Willow Metro Park Golf Course and got back to their winning ways. Junior Andie Martin led the way for the Lady Chiefs posting a nice round of 47. Senior Jill Chapp carded a nice score of 54, one of her best rounds of the season. Senior Sophia Straub continued her steady play posting a 56 for the Chiefs. Freshman Ivy George added nice round of 62. Senior Asia Riley rounded out the Lady Chiefs line up. The Bears were lead by Senior Julianna Metdepenningen who carded a nice score of 49 for the day.
The Chiefs move their Huron League record to 10-2 for the season. They will have little rest as they hit the links again tomorrow at the Southgate Invitational at Wesburn Golf Club.
