The Huron Girls Varsity Golf team hosted a tri-match against Milan and Flat Rock at Willow Metro Park Golf Course on Wednesday.  The Lady Chiefs were able to run their Huron League record to 9-1 with wins over both opponents.  Huron posted a team score of 211 with Milan shooting 217 and Flat Rock carding 290.  This was the first time Flat Rock has earned a team score in the Huron League for girls golf.

The Lady Chiefs were led by Junior Andie Martin who has been very steady all season.  She posted a very nice 43.  Senior Sophia Straub had a tough hole but made a nice recovery and shot a very nice 53.  Senior Asia Riley shot a personal best 56 for the Chiefs and has played very well in her role as a new addition to the Varsity squad.  Junior Anna Puschmann finished the scoring Huron with a 59 doing a good job on a tough day. Seniors Jill Chap and Hannah Arnett were in the mix posting 60 and 61 respectively.     

The Milan Big Reds were led by Kylee Bratschi who posted a solid score of 48 on the tough Willow Metro Park  course while the Flat Rock Rams were led in scoring by Jillian H carding a 61.

The Lady Chiefs will be back in action on Sept 9 as they head to the Riverview Highlands Golf Course.
