The Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf team was back in action again today as they traveled to Lake Erie Metro Park for the Carlson Invitational.  This tournament uses different formats to comprise the team score.  Two players play their own ball as usual.  Their scores count as two of the four scores that make up the team score.  Two girls play as a scramble team for the third score and two girls play as an alternate shot team for the fourth score.  The Lady Chiefs were able to post a final team score of 220 to finish in 5th place today.  This was a special day for two players who made their Varsity debut.  Congratulations to Seniors Asia Riley and Tristyn Savage on you accomplishment. 

Playing their own ball was Junior Andie Martin and Senior Hannah Arnett.  Andie posted a very nice score of 42 and earned a 2nd Place medal in her format.  She finished just 1 shot behind the Medalist.  Great job Andie!!!  Hannah carded a solid 54 on a very wet and difficult course.  In the scramble format Seniors Sophia Straub and Asia Riley posted a very nice score of 56.  In the most difficult format, the alternate shot, the team of Seniors Jillian Chapp and Tristyn Savage were able to post a team score of 68 for the Lady Chiefs.  

The Lady Chiefs will get back to work improving on their game over the next 2 days.  They return to action on Friday as they head to the Tecumseh Invitational.  Good Luck Lady Chiefs!!
