The Lady Chiefs hosted the Monroe County Championships today at Green Meadows Golf Course hoping to earn a 4th straight Monroe County Championship.  The Chiefs did not have enough on this day and fell to the Champions Bedford who shot a nice team score of 371 and Runner-Up Airport posting a 373.  The Chiefs finished 3rd in a very tight finish posting a team score of 379.  

Leading the way in scoring for the Lady Chiefs was Senior Captain Sylvia Floyd posting an 89 and earning a 3rd place overall finish.  Senior Captain Erin Bressler and Sophomore Andie Martin both shot 95 earning them a tie for 6th place overall.  Junior Sophia Straub and Senior Averey Potter added in 100 each to finish out the team scoring with Junior Jillian Chapp Carding a 103.

Sylvia Floyd's 89 and Erin Bressler's 95 were good enough to earn them individual honors as 1st Team All-County.  Andie Martin lost in a scorecard playoff at 95 to earn 2nd team All-County honors.

The Lady Chiefs will travel to Lilac Golf Course on Thursday to finish out their Huron League schedule in the Huron League Championship Tournament.  Good luck Lady Chiefs!!  Work hard and bring it home!!
