The Huron Lady Chiefs Golf Team continued their strong play in their Huron League matches to post a victory against SMCC, at Willow Golf Course today.  This was the final home match for this year's seniors Erin Bressler, Sylvia Floyd, and Averey Potter.  The course was wet and sloppy and the wind created problems for the players.  The Chiefs were able to post a team score of 193 with SMCC shooting 226.  Huron was led in scoring by Sophomore Andie Martin posting a solid score of 44.  Senior Sylvia Floyd was just one shot behind carding a 45.  Senior Averey Potter, once again playing very consistent golf shot 51 and Senior Erin Bressler finished the scoring for the Lady Chiefs with a 53.  Junior Sophia Straub's 55 was one better than Sophomore Anna Puschmann's 56.  SMCC was lead by Arianna Lewis and Catherine Zochowski both posting a 55.

This ends the dual match portion of the Huron League schedule for the Chiefs and gives them a perfect 12-0 record going into the Huron League Championships next week.  The Lady Chiefs will be looking for a 3rd straight Huron League Championship.  The Chiefs will travel to Green Meadows Golf Course on Monday to host in the Monroe County Championships and then head to Lilac Golf Club for the Huron League Championships later in the week.
