Huron's Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf team earned a very close Huron League win today over a very strong Airport team at Sandy Creek Golf Course.  Huron squeaked out the win posting a team score of 192 to Airports 196.  Airport's Kristen Reed led all players shooting a great score of 39.

The Lady Chiefs were led in scoring by Senior Sylvia Floyd who carded a 46 to set the pace for the rest of the team.  Seniors Averey Potter and Erin Bressler both posted 48 for the Chiefs and Sophomore Andie Martin finished up the scoring for the Lady Chiefs posting a 50.  Sophomore Anna Puschmann and Junior Sophia Straub both saw Varsity action in today's tough match.  

The Chiefs saw some JV action at today's match with Jillian Chapp playing some great holes today tuning up her game.  Hannah Arnett got some valuable playing time and posted some great numbers while Bella DeVola saw some difficulty in the sloppy conditions but continues to improve each time out.

The Lady Chiefs will head to Grosse Ile on Wednesday for another important Huron League match  and then travel to compete on Friday in the Southgate Invitational.  Good luck Lady Chiefs!!  Keep on working hard!!
