The Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf Team traveled to Lilac Golf Course to compete in the Jefferson Invitational on Monday.  High temperatures and gusty winds made for a difficult day on the links.  The Lady Chiefs handled the conditions well and posted a team score of 393 to earn a 2nd Place finish and team medals.  Trenton finished 7 shots better to earn 1st Place posting  a team score of 386.  Airport's Kristen Reed shot 79 to earn Medalist honors.  

Senior Sylvia Floyd paced the Lady Chiefs posting a 91.  She finished in 2nd Place overall.  Sophomore Andie Martin battled through a few tough holes to post 97.  Senior Erin Bressler carded 100 with a few tough holes and an Eagle on a par 5.   Senior Averey Potter finished out the team scoring with a 105 and carded a birdie on a par 4.  Junior Sophia Straub saw her first action of the season and Sophomore Anna Puschmann saw her first Varsity action for the Lady Chiefs.  Both players earned 2nd Place team medals.  The Chiefs will continue their Huron League campaign against Milan on Wednesday as they travel to Pine View Golf Course.
