The Lady Chiefs Varsity Golf Team began their Huron League schedule on Thursday traveling to the Monroe Country Club for the Huron League Jamboree.  This is an 18 hole tournament where all league teams are played at one time.  The Lady Chiefs posted a solid team score of 380 to finish in 1st Place and earn a 6-0 Huron League start.  A much improved Airport team finished in 2nd with a team score of 413.  Airports Kristen Reed was the medalist posting a score of 82. 

The Chiefs placed four players in the top 10 at this event.  Leading the way for the Lady Chiefs was Senior Sylvia Floyd posting an 85 and  2nd place overall.  Sophomore Andie Martin shot a solid 92 for a 3rd place finish.  Seniors Erin Bressler carded a 101 for a 6th place finish and Averey Potter carded a 102 for a 7th place finish and  rounded out the scoring for the Lady Chiefs.  Junior Jillian Chapp played with a broken bone in her foot and had one of the best efforts to date.  The Lady Chiefs travel to Lake Erie Golf Course for the Lady Marauder Invitational on Friday.
