Sat. Sept. 24 – Cadillac Invitational @ Veterans Serving Veterans Park

Huron Cross Country made its third trip to Cadillac for an overnight competition, arriving to foggy, low-visibility conditions that quickly cleared, giving way to warmer weather as the races progressed.

Huron Girls Cross Country brought home two medals and three personal records. Avery Turk finished 8^th overall (19:33.3), securing both a medal and a top-10 t-shirt. Kayla Christesen placed 23^rd with a PR of 20:59.3, going sub-21 for the first time, and earned a spot on the All-Time Top 20 5K leader board, as well as a medal for finishing in the top 30. Maiya Thomas also set a PR with her first sub-24 time, finishing 68^th (23:56.6 PR), followed closely by Lillian West in 70^th (24:21.0 PR), Isa Vargo 77^th, Kirsten Perecki 82^nd (25:48.0), Stella Mac 88^th (27:24.3), Julia Welch 93^rd (30:06.2).
