Tues. Sept. 17 – Huron League Jamboree #1 @ Milan High School
In the girls' Cross Country race, Avery Turk finished 3rd, setting a new Huron 5K school record with a personal best time of 19:19.2, breaking the previous record by 8 seconds. Kayla Christesen followed closely, securing 11th (21:48.6), with both runners earning recognition in the top 14. Alice Williams with a personal record finished 28th (24:08.1) out of 58 runners, Maiya Thomas (24:53.1), Lillian West 34th (25:05.6 PR), Isa Vargo 35th (25:20.8), Kirsten Perecki 40th (26:03.7), and Stella Mac in 43rd hitting a PR (26:37.7), and Julie Welch 50th (28:18.8). Overall, the team finished fifth out of eight schools.
