Thurs. Oct. 19 – Huron League Championships @ Willow Metropark

Huron Cross Country took some time to honor our seniors and their parents at the Huron League Championship Meet. Senior yard signs were displayed on the course coming in by the three-mile post. Congratulations Class of 2023-24: Drew Blosser, Natalie Carlile, Garrett Cheney, Abdul Ghennewa, Noah Myshock, Rocco Sells, Hunter Szawara, Roman Whitmore!

Despite experiencing similar conditions to this past Saturdays meet with rain and mud, Huron Girls XC had two runners place in the top 7 claiming 1^st Team All-League honors with Avery Turk placing 3^rd overall (19:43.9) and Falyn Doss, with her first sub 20 minute, at 4^th (19:52.1 PR) both earning medals. Kayla Christesen finished in 24^th (22:38.9), Julia Welch 48^th (27:32.4), Natalie Carlile 49^th (29:12.6), and Savanna Rupnow 50^th (29:46.3).  Overall as a team the Chiefs finished fifth in the Huron League.
