Sat. Sept. 16 – Huron Invitational 

Huron XC made school history at the 54^th Annual Huron Invitational. The girls' team took home their first Huron Invite Championship title and along with the boys winning their division it was the first time both teams shared the honor in the same year. Way to go Chiefs!!

The Huron Girls Cross Country team won the title with their top 5 medaling among the top 35. Avery Turk led the team finishing 4^th overall (20:29.2), followed by Falyn Doss in 7^th with a PR time of 21:06.7 which lands her on the Huron Top 20 5K board in 19^th, Kayla Christesen placed 18^th (23:01.5 PR), and Cecilia Evans 35^th (24:25.4), all earning medals. Kirsten Perecki came in at 63^rd (26:53.5), Savanna Rupnow 71^st (27:45.3), Julia Welch 76^th (28:24.5 PR), Macy Bauman (29:46.1 PR), Amelia Szawara 80^th (30:58.2).
