Sat. Sept. 26 – Jefferson Invitational
Both the Cross-Country teams brought home trophies at the Jefferson Invitational, outscoring their nearest competitors by over 20 points.
The Huron Girls team placed 3rd overall with five runners medaling in the top 30: Elizabeth Anderson, in a true battle at the finish, placed 10th (21:42.8), Tiffany Burns 20th (22:55.8), Maggie Warden 24th (23:10.8), and Breeann Roupe 25th (23:14.0). Madelyn Barbour, narrowly missed out on a medal, placing 31st (23:25.4), Cara Bean 50th (25:43.7), Madison Connor 55th (27:26.4).
In the JV race, setting a new personal record, Natalie Carlile finished 16th (27:17.6 PR) and Emma Randles 43rd (33:50.5)
