Sat. Sept. 24 – Cadillac Invitational @ Veterans Serving Veterans Park
Huron Cross Country made its third trip to Cadillac for an overnight competition, arriving to foggy, low-visibility conditions that quickly cleared, giving way to warmer weather as the races progressed.
Huron Boys Cross Country had two top 10 finishers who earned medals and a t-shirt. Lucas Kuhn led the team, shaving 13 seconds off his school record to break the 16-minute mark with a time of 15:50.3, placing 4th. Luke Dulecki followed in 8th with a personal best of 16:19.3. Kyle Biller narrowly missed medaling in the top 30, placing 32nd (17:33.5 PR). Cameron Crane came in at 58th (18:10.1), Louie Macon 66th (18:31.7), Tanner Kuhn 67th (18:35.7), Broderick Yensch 74th (19:21.0 PR), and Lucas Worrell 75th (19:24.7). The Chiefs had four athletes compete in the JV race with Evan Banas finishing 33rd (20:16.7) out of 123 runners, Aiden Hebert-Foe 35th (20:22.1), Ben Holbrook 37th (20:28.5 PR), and Austin Krause 68th (22:10.6).
