Sat. Oct. 22 – Airport Invitational@ Airport High School

Huron Boys & Girls Cross Country took home trophies from their last regular season competition at the Airport Invitation on Saturday and earned a total of 17 medals.

In the boys, varsity race, the Chiefs claimed the Airport Invite Championship trophy with six runners medaling among the top 25: Ryan Morris 2^nd (17:08.1), Griffin Mentzer 3^rd (17:19.3), Abdul Ghennewa 4^th (17:25.9), Lucas Kuhn 11^th (18:06.9), Luke Dulecki 12^th (18:08.8), and Samuel Stanley 25^th (18:50.6). Kyle Biller, just one place away from a medal, placed 26^th (19:00.8).

The JV Boys Team earned six medals in the top 10 with Caiden Siggett in 3^rd (20:26.5), Evan Banas 4^th (20:27.0), Jacob Welch 5^th (20:32.8), Roman Whitmore 8^th (21:31.7), Lucas Worrell 9^th (21:43.0), and Hunter McMahan 10^th (22:11.3)  The team occupied the next 4 places with Cole Druyor in 11^th (22:20.6), followed by Noah Myshock 12^th (22:22.4), Garrett Cheney 13^th (22:23.4), and Ben Holbrook 14^th (22:31.8). Drew Blosser finished 19^th (23:33.9), Rocco Sells 20^th (24:00.9), Broderick Yensch 21^st (24:01.5), Deegan Richardson 21^st (24:08. 0), Jack Fisher 23^rd (24:11.4), Cameron Stewart 26^th (24:28.3), Nathan Zakar 28^th (25:01.3), Hunter Szawara 31^st (25:46.2) and Joel Lazenby 33^rd (27:45.4).
