Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Cabrini HS School

The Girls' Basketball team program started its season off on the right foot Tuesday night. The Chiefs played a very talented Cabrini team and came out with a 55-47 victory. Overall, it was a great team effort and every player contributed. Lila Clements led all scorers with 21 points and Gabby Emelian finished strong with 19 points. Nina Clements and Brooke Leporowski both finished with 5 and Maggie Warden, Saige Chaffin, and Melissa Mentzer all contributed with a basket. The Chiefs are now 1-0 and will play Tecumseh on Friday in Tecumseh. The Junior Varsity team also came out with a victory with a score of 47-38 and they begin the season 1-0. Great job girls!
