MONROE HIGH SCHOOL: 44
The Chiefs struggled in the first half due to the pressure that Monroe had created which resulted in many turnovers. In the second half, the team fought back from a 12 point deficit to come within 3 points and remained within reach for the entire 4th quarter. The team looks forward to improving on the things that we learned after the game tonight before starting league play. Olivia Bussell led all scorers with 25 points. For the Chiefs, Izzie Pritt and Samantha Belair each finished with 9 points. Amelia Strochine added 8 points and Melissa Mentzer added 7. The Chiefs will look to play Garden City on Friday at Huron.
