It was the final home game of the season joined with parent and senior night that ended in a victory for the Huron Chiefs Varsity Girls Basketball team.  The team really came together combining all that they had learned and truly played together moving the ball, supporting each other on the court and from the bench.  The energy all night was the highest it has been all season and it really transitioned to the floor for the Chiefs.  Head Coach, Leticia Horry, and Assistant Coach, Brian Turk, couldn't be more proud of all the girls in their final home game of the season, especially the seniors (Alexis Thomas, Emily Egler, Caroline Polites, & Courtney Balazs) who played with such vigor and heart.  Senior Alexis Thomas led the way with 24pt, 10 reb, 8 stls, 4 blks, 4 asst, followed by senior Courtney Balazs with 23pt, 4 Reb, 4 stls, 3 ast.  In the end the Chiefs finished with a 66-33 victory over Monroe Jefferson. GO CHIEFS!!
