Knowing your "WHY" makes all the difference in life and the game of basketball. This week our Huron Girls were able to dig deep to find their "why" and that made all of the difference in the way that they played basketball in the game against St. Mary's Catholic Central Monroe. The girls delivered an uptempo team-centered game that focused on strong defense, and offensive ball-movement and communication and that made all the difference. Senior, Alexis Thomas, led the way with 19 pts, 7 steals, 6 rebounds, and 1 block. Senior, Emily Egler, scored 11points, 2 blocks, and 2 rebounds. 40-34 was the final score. Moving forward the Chiefs will continue to dig deep while working together on and off the court. Monday we will face Airport High School.
