Huron and Airport have a history of a fierce competitive rivalry and it was no different when the Huron Varsity Girls faced off with that of Airport High School. A game of intensity, but also misguided focus and mental distractions. In the end it was that lack of focus that helped Airport to secure the victory of the Lady Chiefs 51-57. The Chiefs have several take-a-ways from the Airport game that will only help to make them better for the next game and for that we are grateful. We look forward to meeting Airport at the next match-up and will be sure to deliver the mental toughness and focus 100%!
