FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 52
Basketball is about more than just a ball and hoop. Basketball is also about leadership, teamwork, respect, and upholding team values. The Flat Rock game helped the girls to learn and focus on all of these areas of the game. With every pass, shot, rebound, play, etc. the girls had to depend on the leadership of one another pushing past their personal emotions so they could be there as supportive teammates. Learning trust and sincere care for one another along the way with every play. Flat rock pushed us to the edge, but our girls found their way in teh second half and started to forge their way together as a unified front. A late run brought the girls back within 10, but a disciplined Flat Rock team remained strong and ultimately took the win 38-52.
