FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 53
Much like it takes time to build momentum for a train leaving the station, it took our Huron Varsity Girls time to warm-up to the energy of a competitive Flat Rock Varsity team. Flat Rock took the early lead on our Huron girls, but they rallied back at one point within three points. Our Huron girls started playing team ball, with good passing, and finishing at the hoop, but we were missing one key ingredient that would have made all the difference.. REBOUNDS and COMMUNICATION. In the end that cost us the game and led to a 39-53 loss. The good take-a-ways from the game is that the team knows acknowledges, recognizes, and has a plan on how to improve, develop, and push forward towards success! The JV team did emerge victorious over the Flat Rock JV team. The next game will be Thursday away against Riverview.
