Great game last night for the Chiefs! Varsity won 44-36 over Monroe Jefferson w/ senior Alexis Thomas leading the way w/ 19 pts, 13 rebounds, 6 steals, & 1 block and Senior Courtney Balazs supporting it with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block.  Overall, it was a great team effort with 8 total scorers and valiant effort on the boards with a total of 45 rebounds!! Compliments to sophomore Saige Chaffin for stepping up for her first varsity game  debut playing excellent defense to support the team.  Overall the girls played together as a team and are really beginning to learn each other and the new coaches.  The energy on the court, in the huddle, and in the game is changing and it a great to see the girls come together the way they are.  We hope to continue working hard in practice and in games to improve in all areas to be as competitive as possible.  Our basketball community will see that there is a, "New Huron in Town!"  Let's GO CHIEFS!
