Coming off a pretty solid performance verse Taylor we were ready for action again. Carlson jumped out to a 4-0 lead right off the rip. Two untimely turnovers lead to easy baskets for them. From there though we shut the door. The 4 points scored would be the only points we would give up that quarter. Thomas lead the way quarter one with 4 points of her own and we had some easy baskets inside to take an 11-4 lead after quarter one. Quarter two is where we really stepped it up down low. Anna Atherton realized her mismatch and took the game over in the paint. She had 4 in the second and she had 8 in the third. She lead us in points with 12 overall.  Once we took the lead we never looked back. Our defensive pressure up front from Lexi Thomas, Izzy Pritt, and Courtney Balasz created a lot of turnovers that we capitalized on. I was very impressed with how well we were moving and the cohesion we had defensively. Laila Castillo played a great game as well. Scoring in all but the second quarter. Her and Thomas both finished with 8 points behind Atherton. Faith Callahan and Izzy Pritt each finished with 6 points. Samantha Belair and Courtney Balasz added a basket of their own. We had 24 steals total which I think is the ultimate highlight of the game.
