MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 37
Tough night for the Lady Chiefs as they enter the game a couple ladies down. It was extremely difficult keeping up this evening, for the simple fact that with the illness that took over the team, recovering back to good health has taken some time. We were getting beat up and down the floor and physically just could not hold our own. We were only down 6 at the end of the 1st. By half, though, we were down 22-8. It was all around tough night. THe kids did their best with what we were working with as far as able bodies. I was proud of them with how hard they worked despite the adversity. Final score was 37-21.
