This was a great team win today. We were able to get a solid effort from the bench, who actually lead the way for the majority of the game. Huron jumped out to a lead early and never looked back.
Sam Belair lead the way with 11 points. Ava Dimilia and Faith Callahan both had 10 points on the day. I think all three took the game over. Sam took the ball to the hole nicely and finished strong. Ava and Faith dominated the boards and came up with some big put backs.
Defensively, Lexi Thomas set the tone.She had 6 steals on the day and finished with 8 points. Her defensive ability is key to our tempo and she does an excellent job of establishing herself early.
Marissa Smith and Anna Antherton both contributed 6 points to the day.
It was a great effort by the entire team today. Very proud of how they came together and played.
