RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 60
Huron played a strong first half and took a 27-24 lead into the locker room at Riverview only to falter in the 2nd half and lose their 14th straight game 60-48. The Chiefs built an early 18-5 lead but the Pirates closed the 1st quarter on an 8-0 run which included a 3 point shot at the buzzer to get within 5. Riverview finally took the lead in a decisive 3rd quarter as Cal Lockhart scored 12 of the Pirates 16 points. We continue to lack consistency with our possessions as teams make runs on us. Focus, execution, discipline and turnovers continually prevent our team from winning and closing out games. Lockhart lead Riverview with 25 and Junior Kolby Dorn added 15. Huron had 4 players score between 9 and 11 points-Senior Cole Grunwald scored 11 and Junior Rory Callahan added 10. Huron welcomes SMCC on Friday night.
