MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 58
The Milan Big Reds traveled to Huron and won their second game of the year by beating the Chiefs 58-44. As they did Friday at Airport, Huron came out strong in the first quarter Senior Cole Grunwald and Junior Rory Callahan both scored 5 points as the Chiefs raced to a 16-9 lead. But Milan roared back cutting the deficit to one at 24-23 by halftime. The game swung to Milan in the 3rd quarter as they outscored Huron 19-8 paced by Senior Evan Morelock who scored 8 of his 11 points. Milan lead 42-36 to start the 4th and the Chiefs could get no closer as they fell to 1-9 on the season. Milan had balanced scoring with 5 players between 6 and 12 points. They were lead in scoring by Junior Dominic Badziak who scored 12. Junior Ethan Woolery was the leading scorer for Huron with 12. The Chiefs host Grosse Ile on Friday night. Milan travels to Monroe Jefferson.
