The Huron Chiefs got off to a slow start and lost their 3rd game in five days this week falling to the Riverview Pirates 67-52 on Saturday afternoon. Huron could only muster 8 points in the first quarter and fell behind by 3. The Pirates stretched their lead to nine, 31-22 by halftime.  We played better in the 3rd quarter cutting the lead to four points on several occasions, but could never get that one big defensive stop or hit a big shot.  "Their defensive and length gave us problems," but I don't think we played with the intensity or urgency we needed," said Huron Coach Bob Blosser.  Our defensive rotation was slow and help was late. Riverview has a lot of offensive weapons. Senior guard MRE Neal lead the way with 18 points for the Pirates, Senior forward Ian Smith added 17, and Senior forward Caleb Sullivan chipped in with 11.  Senior guard Chase Molnar was Huron's leading scorer with 20 points while Sophomore Center Rory Callahan added 10 points and 6 rebounds.
