St. Mary Catholic Central came out strong in the 3rd quarter by outscoring visiting Huron 16-8 to overcome a 3 point deficit and help the Falcons to pull away from the Chiefs 69-59.  Sophomore Center Rory Callahan scored 10 of his 13 points in the first half to stake Huron to a quick lead. SMCC guard Josh Theisen hit 3 big threes in the 2nd half to jumpstart a sluggish Falcon team that got better as the game went. Central halted every run made by Huron in the 4th quarter by hitting 15 free throws to give the Falcons some breathing room.  Senior Tim Barno lead the Falcons with 18 points, Josh Theisen scored 16 and Jaden Turner chipped in with 10. Junior guard Isaac Smith lead the Chiefs with 14.  Huron will return to action with a Saturday afternoon game at Flat Rock.  Huron won the Freshman game, and Josh Buettner scored 11 to lead the Chiefs to a 40-37 Junior Varsity win.
