Junior guard Zac Foster scored a career high 24 points and Junior forward Sal Marchionda added a career 21 points as the Huron Chiefs closed out their regular season schedule with 71-65 win over the Taylor Griffins. We worked hard on the offensive side of the floor but I was disappointed in our defensive effort. But at least we have some momentum going into our district next week that we are hosting. Senior guard Chad Sturgill fouled out midway through the 4th quarter but Zac Foster scored 10 points of his 24 points including 7 of 8 from the free throw line. Foster and Marchionda scored 14 of Huron's 16 fourth quarter points. Our players did a great job at the free throw line making 25-30 to hold off Taylor. Huron's Freshmen and JV teams both won to finish their season with winning records.
