ALLEN PARK HIGH SCHOOL: 38
Senior guard Chad Sturgill scored 12 of his game high 14 points in the first half to stake Huron to a 30-19 half time lead and Huron went on to beat Allen Park 51-38. The Jaguars got within 43-35 late in the 3rd quarter but the Chiefs held Allen Park to only 3 points in the 4th quarter. Senior center Austin Wyszynski added 9 points and 8 rebounds. Allen Park was led by Max Slate and Ryan Waddell who both scored 7. Huron won the freshmen game and lost the JV game.
