OSCAR A. CARLSON HIGH SCHOOL: 69
Carlson put three players in double figures led by junior guard Cal Raymond who hit five 3's and scored 23 points to lead Carlson past New Boston Huron 69-52 to even their season record at 1-1. Junior Jerez Rinehart added 18 and junior Ian Stewart chipped in with 11. New Boston was led in scoring by senior point guard Chad Sturgill who contributed 22 points 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Carlson raced to a 22-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and outscored the Chiefs in each quarter to keep them winless. Huron is back in action on December 11th as they travel to Lincoln Park.
