FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 66
The Flat Rock Rams improved to 12-4 overall and 8-3 in the conference with a hard fought 66-56 over the Huron Chiefs. Justin Henderson lead a balanced attack with 17 points, Conner Neal scored 16 and Seth Bogataj added 11. Flat jumped out to a 16-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and stretched the lead to 30-13 in the 2nd, but Huron closed the second quarter with a 13-2 run to make it 32-26 at halftime. Huron closed to 50-47 in the 4th but Flat Rock went on a 11-0 run to put the game away. I thought Conner Neal was the difference tonight with his 16 since he was injured the first time we played them said Huron Coach Bob Blosser. KaRon Clayton hit a clutch half court shot at the buzzer to lead the Rams JV team to a 49-47 win. Karon scored 33 for Flat Rock Braden Hoffman scored 20 for Huron.
