Huron ended a three game losing streak with a 50-43 win over a very inspired Airport Jets basketball team. The Airport students and players and community are mourning the loss of one of their friends, Gavin Wethington this week in a tragic accident. Junior Karter Fitzpatrick lead the Jets with 14 points and promising sophomore Benjamin Phillips added 13. Huron overcame a one point deficit heading into the fourth quarter by outscoring Airport 19-11. Junior Sal Marchionda was the key for the Chiefs with 12 points, 6 coming in the fourth. Vinnie Wroblewski scored 11 points and pulled down 9 rebounds, Phil Martin contributed 11. Isaac Yates scored 15 points as the Huron Junior Varsity team beat Airport 51-49.
