The Chiefs went 2-1 at the Melvindale Quad on September 7.
Win vs Southgate 25-13, 19-25, 16-14
Stat leaders: Erin Newman with 5 aces: Kelsey Trombly with 6 kills; Miranda Jasinski with 5 kills; Gabby Cumbo with 9 assists.
Loss to Clarenceville 26-28 and 21-25
Stat leaders: Allison Hollingshead with 3 aces and 5 digs; Gabby Cumbo with 4 kills and 7 assists; and Ellen Town had 3 kills and 3 digs.
Win vs Melvindale 25-14 and 25-13
Stat leaders: Kelsey Trombly with 12 aces: Regina Thomas 3 kills; and Allison Hollingshead with 4 digs.
The Chiefs start league play next week with a visit to Monroe Jefferson on September 13.
