Lady Chiefs had another tough loss. I though we came out stronger this evening than the previous. We were only down 6 at the end of the first and 9 by half. But scoring was a struggle for us. Again gave up too many threes, and when we weren't giving up the three, we didnt defend the drive very well. Our help defense has to still get better. We took some quality shots inside, even moved the ball well for the most part, nothing would fall. Its extremely hard to beat a team that is on, when we don't connect on anything from the inside right under the basket. With Dimilia out we had to generate a different kind of scoring presence and that just didn't happen. Our leading scorer was Thomas with 6 and behind her was Smith and Callahan each with 4. Umin, Balasz, Polites, and Atherton each had 2 and Campbell hit a 3.
