The defensive display could not be outdone today as our kids made play after play to keep the Big Reds off the board. Rylie threw an absolute gem. Hard to hit all game. We relied heavily on some big plays to get out of some jams and they surely did their job. With runners on second and first, in the top of the 7th and one out, a shot to right field was snagged at the shoe strings and we doubled up the runner on first to end the game. This team keeps taking the right steps forward. Playing clean and making some great adjustments at the plate. Sometimes all you need is a couple key hits when your defense and pitching are firing in the way they were today. The Huron Men’s Track & Field team delivered a strong all-around performance in their 90–33 win over Milan, fueled by a record-breaking effort and depth across events. Hunter Mihal had a record-setting night, breaking a 34-year-old school record in the 400M dash with a time of 49.14. He also earned 1st in the 200M and anchored two winning relays: the 4×200 (with Anderson, Stasak, Brown) and the 4×400 (with Folkwein, Biller, Hudkins). Dylan Hudkins continued his hurdle dominance, taking 1st in both the 110M and 300M hurdles. The distance crew put together a pair of sweeps in the 800M (Kuhn L., Dulecki, Druyor) and 1600M (Kuhn L., Dulecki, Musallam) while Luke Dulecki added a win in the 3200M. The squad also took 1st in the 4×800 (Dulecki, Biller, T. Kuhn, L. Kuhn). The Huron Women’s Track earned 1st place finishes in seven events against a strong Milan team. Brielle Musallam earned wins in the high jump and pole vault, and added a 2nd place finish in the long jump. Falyn Doss took 1st in the 1600M, 800M, and ran the anchor leg of the winning 4×800 relay with Williams, Vargo, and Egle. Avery Turk earned a 1st place finish in the 300M hurdles, while Taraji Eaton placed 2nd in the 100M and 3rd in the 200M. The Chiefs also scored well in the 400M (Pacheco 2nd, Rupnow 3rd) and 3200M (Williams 2nd, Simpson 3rd). Alexis White finished 3rd in the 800M, and Simpson added another 3rd in pole vault. The Huron Women’s Track team battled it out in tough weather conditions, falling to Airport with a final score of Huron 48 – Airport 79. Top scorer Brielle Musallam led the way with first-place finishes in the high jump and long jump, along with a second in the 200M. The Huron Men’s Track & Field team was crowned Warrior Classic Champions, finishing 1st out of 20 teams in a dominant team performance. Hunter Mihal stole the spotlight by breaking a 12-year-old meet record in the 400M dash with a time of 50.20, hitting the early state qualifying mark and officially punching his ticket to the State Finals. Dylan Hudkins was another standout, racking up 21.5 points on the day. LADY CHIEFS UNDEFEATED 2ND YEAR IN A ROW.
Huron defeated Jefferson 29-1 to complete their 2nd straight undefeated season and second straight Huron League title. Alayna Conklin's 191 led all bowlers in scoring. Nancy Collins took over the girls program two years ago and has yet to lose in the Huron League . The Lady Chiefs are one of the best teams in the state and should make a great run in the state playoffs.

LADY CHIEFS FOCUSED IN WIN
Huron improved to 11=0 with their 21-9 win over a very talented Flat Rock team . The girls threw the last 6 strikes in game one of the baker portion for a league high 247 game. The followed that up with a nice 182 game for league high baker series. Olivia Demick's 201 and Alayan Conklin's 190 led the Chiefs in game 1 of the regular portion to lock up the win.

SUEMNICK - SAINATO LEAD CHIEFS
Huron defeated Jefferson 30- 0 to end the regular season. The Chiefs finished 10.5-1.5 and 2nd place in the Huron League. Nick Suemnick 259 and Aiden Sainat's 255 led the Chiefs in score. Nick Suemnick averaged 239.8 for the season which is an all time high for average in the Huron league. Nick is one of the states top bowlers in any division and has a great chance to bring home a state title. Suemnick anchors one of the sates top teams that also has a chance to win a state title.
