Renton at Gabriel Richard Invite


September 11, 2018- Gabriel Richard Invite

            The Renton boys came into the GR Invite and showed all the hard work that they have been doing paid off. They earned the championship trophy, placing first as a team out of twelve. As individuals the boys had ten get personal records and had four earn medals for a top twenty-five finish out of 181 runners. The medal recipients were Brady Fleszar 2nd (11:44), Ryan Morris 5th (11:55PR), Caiden Siggett 7th (12:22), and Griffin Mentzer 10th (12:35). Other finishers, Drew Slane 33rd (13:43), Nathan Zakar 55th (14:16PR), Noah Myshock 64th (14:35PR), Liam Hilliker 69th (14:44PR), Rocco Sells 70th (14:46PR), Garrett Cheney 71st (14:44PR), Gavin O’Hara 80th (14:56), Samuel Stanley 85th (15:00), Hunter Szawara 93rd (15:17PR), Ryan Anderson 98th (15:26), Jack Miller 119th (16:06),  Xander Scannell 121st (16:08), Evan Banas 126th (16:14), Jacob Welch 130th (16:19PR), Kyle Biller 132nd (16:26PR), Zachary Taylor 138th (16:42), Lucas Worrell 142nd (16:52PR), and Gavin Scannell 160th (18:16).

The Renton girls displayed their hard work also. The girls team also earned a trophy by taking second out of nine teams. The girls as individuals had seven earn personal records and had seven receive a medal for their top twenty-five finish out of 113 runners. The girls who received medals were Breeann Roupe 4th (12:59), Abigail Murphy 5th (13:00), Gia Dean 6th (13:05PR), Maggie Warden 12th (13:37PR), Elizabeth Anderson 18th (13:49PR), Leah Emch 19th (13:49), and Tiffany Burns 20th (13:50).  Other finishers Madeleine Furkas 34th (14:48), Madison Connor 46th (15:53), Olivia Feldpausch 56th (16:03PR), Cara Bean 70th (16:48), Natalie Carlile 72nd (16:54PR), Jenna Shrum 95th (18:40PR), and Hannah Gyolai 98th (18:44).
